GAFLA - A new movie with all new actors. The movie is produced by this movie hero himself. It basically details the way the BSE works and how Harshad Bhai Mehtha came up and fell out of grace also.
This movie is a breath of fresh air from the routine, mundane movies from the subcontinent.
This movie is a must watch on all your movie list. It looks like Harshad Mehtha's family might have been behind this movie ?.
Do not miss this movie. When I compare the quality of movies like this, Black Friday coming out of Mumbai to the stuff coming from South India they are just poles apart. Still people are running around with sickles in Tamil Nadu while people are making intelligent/realistic movies in Mumbai.
Two Thumbs and Two Toes up for this movie.

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....
"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
I watched it two weeks ago and liked too much. This is a real life version of Harshad Mehta's story.

Great movie- but Guru was a million times better!
But yeah real good flick. Enjoyed thoroughly. Only I think BSE did not reach the 6000 levels during Harshad's time. Oh well trust an Indian flick not to be too clean on the details.
Does anybody know for sure if the Sensex hit the 6000's then?
Does anybody even know if it was coined Sensex then? I thought it was Deepak Mohini who coined the phrase Sensex in the early nineties and it replaced BSE after '95.
Anybody?
