Hi,

My spouse has done 4 years bachelors in Physical Theraphy from India.
Whats are job prospects of Indian Physical therapist in Canada. ?

I have heard that they will have to do some further studies in Canada before they can practice as PT, any idea how long ?

What are average Salaries for Physical therapist in Canada.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know the exact details but as far as I know you have to do a License exam here to work as a therapist.. It is also a province-restricted licensing.

Seems like its very similar to USA. In USA too you will have to get a State license (before that you will have to get your education credentials evaluated and based on evaluation might have to attend school for year or so) and then you can practice as an Physiotherapist.

As far i know Physiotherapist make between 55K to 65K in USA and have flexible work timings. They are in good demand in USA.

Maybe some senior CD's can give you more information about Canadian requirements, job prospects and Salary range.

In USA you are required to pass state license exam however till than a PT can work as intern with a licensed PT. Pay is good, a established PT working with a reputed agency can make from $7000 to $10000 USD every month.
My guess Canadian rules will be tougher than USA.
