Don't -

Provide your marital status, no of children/dependents, mother/fathers name, date of birth
Provide information about basic education, such as high school etc
Provide height, weight, colour, religion, caste
Provide confidential information about your past employers, projects, seniors,
criticise your past seniors, employers
do not say you got fired

Do
Be honest smartly
Be clear and complete in expressing yourself
No gaps between two sentences
Mention your achievements in measurements, How your employers were benefitted, what you did, how you did, how you planned, organized, directed, implemented, your strengths, weaknesses
Your voluntary work, social achievements, your sense of belongingness to the society, country,

Do not say my home country India. Canada is your country now. Say when In India.

Honour the place, people and country where you are today without any insult to yourself, your past or your religion, country or community.
