4. What exam everyone has to go through.

Do work on your case studies, they are most important. All fundmentals regarding those case studies should be refreshed.

All Indian Degrees are considered equivalent. to Canadian Degrees. However, PEO feels their is wide disparity between engineering collges with same curriculum. Hence they ask all engineers ( Besides IIT's and may be few others) to write 4 Confirmatory exams. You can choose out of given list of 12 subjects. Out of these 4, one is Engineering Economics.

If you clear 2 of these exams with>60% other two exams are exempted.

However, if you have exp of >5 years you will called for one hour technical interview. This interview is to judge an individual on communications skills and his work experience. As this is an interview, lot depends on what panel wants ? Most of the time they are considerate and help you to answer those fundamentals, provided you know what you are talking about. Still this is an interview and it can go anywhere. My advice, you should prepare for it with high level brushup of basic engineering subjects. They are more intrested to know the concepts and application of theory rather than those lengthy theorms, etc.

Once interview is cleared, your technical exams are waived and you are then eligible to write PPE exams.

Things in Alberta is different. They don't call for Interviews.
Since I have almost 13-14 years Exp so I think I have to only
give Ethics & Law paper.
Also I done Engg Economics during my graduation so I don't have to again go for this
Now my only concern is Resume which shd be as per there standard
I already have Transcripts & other doc to support my education

Also one more more thing, all refernces shd be P.Engg or its not necessary

good you do not have write test, I have write ethics exam in Dec.

Well I had provided all three references which were P.Eng ( I was lucky enough to get an opportunity in last three years), HOwever, I recollect two have to be P.Eng and one could be your Manager who is not a P.Eng

Check with your Alberta Licencing body.

Anyhow, how are things in Alberta---job market?? Are you in Energy ??

Ya things are okay in Alberta.
I am not saying good as it involves so may things like housing, cost of living
Ya this things are costly here ( I am comparing with Toronto, GTA)

But job market is good in Alberta. Jobs are there if have proper exp.
Also here its not like Toronto ( where they always either ask for Canadian Exp or Certification)

If you good exp ( it may be from any country) then jobs are there

yes I am working in Energy sector & its an grwing company

Lets see
