hi,
I am regular reader of this forum. Most of times I got a lot good information from this forum. I am interested to know that about that is it possible to get further studies in U.S with help of I.E. I did MS in computer sciences from Pakistan in 1992 and did few certificate courses from local Toronto college. Also I have one year work experience as computer programmer in Canada.
So any help information about this topic

If you live in Toronto, and you are looking at funded training from Service Canada (ie HRDC), you would be expected to find training locally (where you reside). Generally the only reason you may consider out of province/country training is if the training is NOT offered locally.
The reasoning behind this is: If the occupation you are choosing is in demand where you live, then so will the program of studies be. The govt is not training you to work in the US. I think the only exception I have ever come across is in Firefighting..because I think there are far fewer schools for this in North America.
