Hello Everyone,
I desperately need someones advice here. This for my brother. His file was approved by CIC missisauga on OCT 3rd and was sent to New Dehli. Now the following is our situation:
The canadian high commision in New Dehli asked for Police Clearance and some more photographs. We provided them with police clearance and photographs. We got a reply back asking for more photographs of the marriage ceremony because they are not satisfying enough and are similar to the one we sent before with the application and we dint took any pictures at the ceremony.
What can we do? Is this a major problem? Can they decline the application by saying that the marriage is not satisfying to them?
Any help will be greatly appriciated.
Thanks,
Hello,
Its a normal process by CIC delhi to request for more photographs/documents before they can make a decision. If you do not have additional photographs, seek help from relatives or friends who might have taken pics at the wedding. Check with an immigration consultant to discuss next steps if you cannot find additional photos.
The following is what it says on CIC webste about additional info request from local visa office.
\"It may require an interview or additional information and documentation before it can make a decision about your application. If you are asked to provide additional documents, the visa office will send you a written request. It is in your interest to comply as quickly as possible.
If the visa office does not receive the additional information or documents within three months of the date of the request, your application may be refused.\"
Wait for replies from other members too.
good luck
