Hi All CD's,

I am currently on H1B in the US, also a CAN PR holder. My wife has been here since last year. Do I have to get her FBI clearance from US (since she has been here for more than a year) when I apply for her Canadian Immigration, once I move to Canada by the end of the year.

That s right. Because of the longer stay there, both of you need not only FBI clearance, but also state clearance. Both have different application procedures.

You don't need anything, but your wife would need FBI clearence. That is all.
