Hi,
I'm in the US currently and am planning to apply for canadian GC in skilled worker category ... I know earlier they did not require any police clearance from India .. what is the new rule since the passmark went down to 67 ? Do i need police clearance from both india and USA ? Also I spent 6 months when I was 18 in Cyprus ? how do i get a police certificate from there .. the cyprus consulate says it will take 6-8 months !

You will need pol/clearance form all 3 countries and you are doing the right thing by going through the Cyprus consulate. You can apply and send in the cyprus pol/clrance when you get it.

Sorry about the cross-posting and thanks for ur quick reply .. so, can i send in my application without any police certificates and then send them in once i get them .. i dont want to wait because all the certificates take atleast 4-6 weeks and the cyprus one will take 6+ months .. will they accept my application without the certificates if i put in a note explaining why they are missing or will they just send it back

A couple of people I know, who have applied through consultants, have been asked by their consultants to send in the PCC along with the application. If PCC expires in 6 months, this means they mite have to apply for it again.
I am totally confused about PCC. Please give your suggestions
