Hey folks,
Doing a research for redesigning my restaurant's menu.
We want to make our menu a south asian menu that will contain chapli kababs of peshawar, biryani from Bombay, nehari of Karachi and so on.
Appreciate your comments.

Khan,
I have been to the restaurant that you have mentioned and found the Chicken Biriyani to be good and fairly priced. As a Tamilian, the biriyani was spicy and I liked it. However, the first time that i went the portions were large but the subsequent times, the portions were not that large and hence we shifted to buying Biriyani at Eastern foods , a bit north from this store.
However as a NV Tamilian (and we are a MINORITY of the people who visit this store), I would prefer :
Lamb Khabab (Price has to be reasonable or no one will buy it. The owner of this restaurant could also do as a lot of Tamilians do which is substitute beef for lamb which will keep the price low).
Many Vegetarians visit Newin center food court and they are left with no other option other than go to the highly priced Dosa Corner and whose food smells b'cos it is so close to the wash room. Having Pure Veg. Biriyani and Vada Pav will surely increase the customer base.
And what is Nehari?

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
You know from the day i opened the restaurant i've been stressing on my quality and it's really very important to me. And putting my self in the customer's place i often ask my self, infact feels that first thing that comes in my mind after feeling the urge to eat is the question that 'How's the quality of the food from where i'm going to eat?' and It makes me feel really strange noticing that people care about price more than quality and everytime noticing, i say to my self that i need to keep my patience as people will love our quality and taste sooner or later, it's only a matter of time. And this doesn't mean that i am not concerned about my prices cause i really am, and i also appriciate your comment and concern but i am doing my best to keep the balance between price and quality but whenever their was a question of 'what's more important?' if i had to choose One.... then let me tell you that i've always choosen quality and i always will.
Nihari is a specialty of Karachi which is mostly served in breakfast but all around the world people eat it at dinner and lunch alot also. Nihari is like a thick gravy curry, that has big beef shanks in it and it's definately an item for beef lovers, or should i say 'THE' item.
P.S: Try doing survey on Eastern Foods!
