My landline is Rogers and I have a long distance plan with Searsconnect, recently I was getting lot of calls from some of my friends to change my landline to ACN voip phone, which I declined, but as a favour to one of my friends I consented to take the long distance plan from ACN, he assured me that this will not affect my long dsitance plan with Searsconnect, but I still have my doubts, is it possible to maintain two long distance plans on the same phone and also if someone using this ACN phone it will be a great favour if they can share with us the quality of their service.
Thanks in advance
its possible to have more than 1 plan as long as the carrier gives a unique access number to dial before the long distance number; sort of using calling card.
eg.
for carrier 1 dial 416-xxx-xxxx & then the desired long distance number
for carrier 2 dial 1-800-xxx-xxxx & then the desired long distance number
Hello!
I am using Primus Viop line as my landline. I called to Sears connect to connect long distance to my Primus. After a week, they called to inform me that Since I was using Primus, I could not be connected to Sears connect. They told me that I had to be using Bell if i was to be connected to Sears connect. I assume that they meant land line in general and not Voip lines.
Please make your own decision.
