Dear Desi experts,
I have a fiancee in Pakistan and I am permanent resident, due to apply for my citizenship soon. I am going to get married in month of april. And want to bring my wife with me.
Is there any possibility that my fiancee apply for visit visa before april and get visa , may be immediately after we get married and then she could accompany me back to canada ? if so what kind of documents I can send along with her visit visa application to support her application?

Dear desijason,
Visitor's visa and Sponsorship Application are two different processes. They both work. Which one will come up first and will it delay any other process, is a question, for which you have to find, from answers through the postings of other desi's that have provided in this CD Forum and by going through each of their replies. There are a lot of postings to read and it will take time. You have lot of it.
Visitor's Visa will be issued based upon the facts the Immigration Officer will determine after seeing the application, her backgroound and if the applicant has affinity and bondage to the country and will return BACK. When he sees your second application sponsoring her....... You guessed it. But who knows? The chances are slim that she will get a visitor's visa and yet she might get one chance at it.
Start preparing for the engagement and marriage by collecting all of the letters, pictures and e-mails, cards, telephone records through the Phone company bills etc., etc., and keep them upto date. Keep the invitations, list of mailings, acknowledgents from the people who received them, guest list, and gifts and signed guest book if you start one and the photo albums etc., and move in that direction and get ready to sponsor immediately after the Marriage. It generally takes about SIX months after that. If in the meantime you are a successful Canadian, then it will have more leverage and merit in that sponsorship.
I know that your heart is beating a little faster now-a-days. Slow down a bit and everyting will fall in its place. Proceed systematically and don't give them any room to play with and get all of the papers ready and do it thorouoghly. Please see other postings in this forum.
Good Luck to you and your fiancee'.
Freddie.
