Hi,

I am planning to land in March and apply for the card and return back to US in a week. Will it be a problem to board the flight in Toronto WITHOUT PR CARD on my return journey? ( I have a valid US visa). Or is it safe to drive through the border? Pl. advise me. Thanks.

you don't need PR card for return journey [leaving Canada].
