Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre is conducting a FREE Workshop on 'Housing for Newcomers' .

It will be a good opportunity to discuss the problems faced by newcomers while renting , buying their first home in Canada and applying for mortgages.

The workshop shall discuss the renting options, what to consider while buying our first home, types of mortgages and how Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation AND Financial Consumer Agency of Canada can assist us in this process.

All are welcome to give their inputs so that we can compile the results and prepare a report.

Details of the workshop are as under:

It is scheduled for April 24, 2008 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Although anyone is welcome to walk in, it is good for us to know the number of participants in advance so that we can make suitable arrangements. All you need to do is call 905-629-1873 Extn. 244 and let me know.
