Regarding point of sajidh1980, I want to clarify that I am NOT at all Jihadi. I am a common person, who tries to earn livelihood for the children by hard work, and neither belong to rich/political family nor belong to any Jihadi party. I passed my life as a government employee, and when completed my service tenure then migrated to Canada in search of job. This house is not my ancestoral house, rather has been given to me by the govt at a bit subsidized rate (due to my govt service) and to pay that subsidized rate I have taken credit card/line of credit so I am presently under debt.

Thanks for input by TK. So what I am hearing is summed up as follows:

1. Sell house in Pakistan now, bring the part of proceeds (say $50K) to Canada to get rid of high interest credit card loans and Line of Credit. Invest the remaining (say $150K) back in Pakistan to take advantage of high interest rate there. --- Sounds very logical. Thanks TK

2. When the housing prices further drop worldwide, then if it sounds feasible then buy back a house in Pakistan. ---This is disturbing because when you sell a house you loose money (to govt taxes, lawyers, real estate agents etc) and when you buy back then again you loose money.

Any more ideas from the forum ???
