I am planning during July 1st weekend.Which will be a better choice as far as beach is concerned?

I like Sauble & some more lil north on same shore ... never been to Grandbend. So can't compare. I'll go there this summer.

We still have 10 Summer Weekends ... why not visit both?

Thank you Maharaja.We're planning to spend couple of nights in Saubel beach there but looks like even regular motel rate is $175 to $200 per night for a small family of 3
Could you please advice me a better place to stay or the place you stayed during your visit.

I dont remember the name of the place ... but it was small time motel in Owen Sound. We were in similar boat, and preferred to live further 30 min away from Sauble. Apart from Owen Sound, you can try Wiarton or Lion's Head as well.

Call Local Information Centre and see if they can suggest some good place.
