It's been a long long time that I have visited a beach. Can someone sugget a good place with a beach for summer in Canada? Cant visit USA since my wife does not have a visitor visa. We just want to hang out on the sand, let the kids play with the sand/water.
Suggestions?experiences?

Your location ???
Tons of places in Ontario
1000 islands
Toronto Woodbine beach
Wasaga Beach (up north)
Do a goole search on Midland, Ontario. Besides you could also check the Ontario Parks website (http://www.ontarioparks.com/). It has a list of National Parks & beaches.

Btw, to DIO's point, I miss the ocean too. Beaches on the lake just aren't as much fun.
But yeah, like SS mentioned, there's tons of places you can go. There's also a nice little beach in Burlington you can go to. Also, centre Island off Toronto has a small beach....

Every one has their own personality so do not comment on others. You will know better with time if you have patience.
Aaha, see what you Ontarians are missing!
Beaches, mountains, hiking, skiing, you name it, we have it all here in Vancouver!
Anyway, DIO - how about Nova Scotia? I always wanted to go there when I was in the East Coast US.. went as far as Maine (Bar Harbour), but didn't take the ferry to Nova Scotia then since I didn't have a visa to Canada. Heard a lot of good things about the place.
