Hoping that your (child) Son was born here, you can get him a passport here. Fees are $22 - 24 you can choose the size pf the passport depending upon your travels.

They are also available in Post offices.
Pictures will cost about $7-8 at the malls.

Long time ago they used to add them to the adult's Passport. Now they have discontinued that practice.

It takes about a week if you want it Express. Costs a little more. Otherwise within a month.

After you get the Passport you will have to get a Indian Visa, through the Indian High Commission Offices, here in Toronto, if that is the closest to you.

Courier costs $8 for Express post at the P.O. (Two PP's)
Return the same cost.

Once upon a time in India, they were adding child's name in mother's passport. That does not happen (even) in India anymore.

Your son need his own passport, visa, visa fee, etc.
