I think media is unnecessary blowing up this issue. You called its Talibanizm ?
Did you mean that Talibans only slapped and leave them?
No.... They killed the way that you never think about. Just watch what is happening in Swat Valley in pakistan by Talibans.
By the way, if you watch the clips closely, they not beaten only girls but boys as well. And they just slapped 2-3 times and leave them. Nobody is hospitalised or even injured.
I am not favouring to those Ramsena people but the way this issue is presented as talibanism , has never accepted.

What goes around comes back and bites you in the a$$.
Urban India thinks world revolves around it, well it doesn't. This is nothing new for those familiar with rural politics.
It is a routine affair in Indian villages. Men(drunk or not) are rounded and beaten for drinking. All in the name of social service.
Many raids on Arrack/Liquor compounds are led by fashionable feminist organisations backed by police goons. How the tables have turned!
If they call this "Talibanisation", then India was already talibanised long before the word was coined.
Same with Mumbai blasts. When aam aadmi got bombed then "resilience" was the magic word, but when star hotels got bombed suddenly India's existence was threatened.
Don't believe everything media says.

So I guess you find it perfectly acceptable to be slapped 2-3 times (if someone finds something you do against their sense of values) and left alone as long as you are not hospitalized or injured. Nice to know

If this is not talibanisation, than it is indeed a path to talibanisation.
Woman not being allowed to drink alcohol is a double standard. Either nobody should drink alcohol (I detest Gujarat's prohibition policy too) or any adult has a right to go to pub and get drunk
I am not in favour of Valentine day celebration, but I do not think anybody in democracy has a right to force their belief on others and ban others from celebrating that day.
Whats next? Forced arranged marriages? Ban on "love marriages"? Man forced to wear traditional attire (Dhotis) and Women forced to wear sarees?
I am against ban on cow slaughter too. Either you do not kill any animal, or do not meddle with other people's food habit.
The moral codes that were formed 2000-3000 years ago, do not apply to modern day society. And I believe that Indian society was way more liberal before foreign invasion.
