Would be a "nice to have" feature similar to CBC website.
Rather than replying to a message just to show your support, just click on agree/disagree button and one would know how many people agree and how many people disagree with a person's viewpoint

I agree too.
Just like in The Toronto Star.
A counter should be set as under :
1. Agree - counter n=n+1
2. Disagree - Counter n=n+1
3. Report Abuse - Counter n=n+1
A IP address should be able to click Agree or Disagree and Report abuse only once. It should be unique.
(I see that the counter listing the views is not unique. When I used to have spare time before, one of my favourite past times was to click on the topic holding my last posting to increase the number of views. This should be stopped.)

Sorry to be picky, but there is no "dislike" option in facebook. I would sure like to have that option in facebook, but that discussion is beyond the realm of this forum
