Last year when I was in India (bangalore, Delhi) I couldnt help noticing that a lot of private institutes were offering biotech courses. I even thought of doing it but it would take many months to conplete so I didnt...plus I didnt know what use it could have in canada?

How is biotech doing in Canada?

First of all let me make it clear that Biomedical and Bio Technology are 2 totally different professions. Canada has very good scope of “BIO TECH” jobs, but you have to have Canadian work experience to get a job in this field.

mercury, i'd like to let you know about something which is happenning in Toronto in bio-medical research feild ....in the next 5 years toronto will be among one of the foremost cities in the world in bio-medical research .

there is a massive MaRS district development project being undertaken in downtown toronto with it completion the district will be one top bio-medical research facilities in North america.

so all i can say is if you are in bio-med research ...things can only look brighter in toronto.
