Hi,
I quick search on Bing Travel brings up Continental Airlines. Trying to fly to Mumbai.
Has anybody ever used Continental Airlines? What are they like?
Continental in domestic wasn't quite attractive, but their international service was good really. I once flew up to Zurich (From New Jersey) for a connecting flight to India.

when did u use their international services?
the other thing that I see on my search results is "Multiple Airlines", where you fly with one airline and come back with another?
Anybody with thoughts on that?

I've flown several airlines over the years and my opinion is that in general, it is not worthwhile to take a lower quality airline to save a couple of hundred $$ on an 8,000+ miles trip.
My rating of a few airlines I have taken is as follows.
Quality of airlines and their service changes over the years, so this may not reflect latest conditions:
#1 Jet Airways
#2 British Airways
#3 Air Canada (no longer operates directly)
#4 Air France
#5 Swiss Air (no longer operates directly)
#6 Lufthansa
#7 KLM
#8 Northwest
#9 Alitalia
I've never flown Continental or United in this sector, but I've flown them between Canada and US and my rating would be approx. between 7 and 8 above.

I tried Yatra and Makemytrip - both are India based websites; Yatra for example, doesnt work find Toronto and makemytrip displays the prices in Rs instead of Dollars making comparison to and fro a bit time consuming
You are right, Emirates is awesome;
Has anybody used Jet recently??????
I just want to avoid going to Mumbai via Delhi

I wouldn't even touch continental with a barge pole. Disappointing stories about inflight service include passengers being impolitely asked to cough up money for an extra cup of coffee (despite being a full fare airline on an intl route).
Try Jet airways or Emirates to Mumbai they are simply awesome.
Multiple airlines usually works out cheaper and more options. Try yatra or makemytrip as I found them reliable and courteous service from their reps.
Happy travelling.![]()
Jet airways is the best and my choice, onboard YYZ -BRU -BOM toronto cooked food sucks (the sharp onions used in food) and brussel is not much happening for shoping,
but in the chaos at brussel and so many desi around, i feel proud to see jet aircraft standing tall against all other airline, and white PYT ferrying elderly Indians with so much of respect,
Thanks jet for making me, an indian so proud
also i have travelled delta/Ba/luft/jet/aa/af
and jet is the best
but also will like to remind that the aircraft is not 777 (YYZ -BRU -BOM)
