Finally Obama has arrived. His visit to the memorial at Taj and short speech thereafter was covered by Times Now. The anchor Arnab, BJP spokesperson and a few others said they were very disappointed about Obama not mentioning the role of Pakistan on 26/11.
Why should a country which wants to become a permanent member of UNSC want a shoulder to cry on? Obama has basically come with a delegation of CEOs to improve business. It will be better if India totally ignores Pakistan and discussed only about economic relations between the two countries. That will be another snub like the earlier IPL cricket league not selecting the Pak players.
The Cong govt itself for the fear of losing votes doesn't want to hang Kasab or Afzal Guru. Then why blame Obama for not speaking against Pak's role. Even a country like Sri Lanka could effectively fight aganist terrorism and not worry about what India thinks. India is all the time bothered about "world opinion".
What is the point in shouting "100 insurgents are waiting to sneak in, 200 terrorists are waiting to enter Kashmir etc", when we do not have the guts to bomb the terrorist camps. Does not Israel bomb terrorist hideouts in Palestine. It neither seem to ask for UNSC permanent seat, nor cries foul everytime there is a terrorist attack. Israel simply retalitates. If only we are going to be afraid of Pak's nuclear black mail, we can as well invite them and endure many more 26/11. We can also handover Kashmir on a platter.
