Hi,
I have a friend who is an International student from India currently studying at a Univ in Ontario...he is planning to move to Saskatoon (Academy of Learning) but is not sure whether he will get a post grad work permit after graduation..can anyone please provide where to look for to know if it is a recognized institute whose programs are recognized by the CIC....
also is it easy to find work (allowable 20hrs)....even otherwise how is the market in Saskatoon and Regina...i myself is thinking of moving ...they have a great family program...appreciate your response
Nobody... guys?
I think only SIAST ,U of S and U of R in Saskatchewan will be recognized by CIC.I go to SIAST.
Hi Sivakasi,
Thank you buddy, can you provide me more info about Saskatoon or Regina ( I don't know which location you go)..but I am just worried about finding work (atleast part time)...do you have an email...we can be in touch.
Thanks
In short:
You or your friend will not be eligible for post graduate work permit or off campus work permit ..... if you study in Academy of Learning.
Without work permit ... it is not really useful to stay in Saskatchewan as Immigration through Provincial nomination will not happen. Also you may not get a cash job there .... like you get in GTA. Most of the employers in SK follow the rules carefully than in GTA.
Attend SIAST, Univ of SK or Univ of Regina ........ or get a work permit through LMO.
just to clarify - are you referring to the private college - Academy of Learning???
