India, in general lacks strong leadership thus rely on dinasty rule. Modi gives hope of leadership. I personally do not care what religion he belongs to or what communal thing happened under his rule (many things happen in other states!).
We need many forward looking leaders like him and if it starts from him , let it be.

Any person wanting India to lead the world will agree with me, rest are emotional relidiots.

Dear Barkha Dutt

Watched you reporting on hanging on Afzal Guru today morning. It was barely an hour of his hanging and was still breaking news. It was really ...great of you to have called the lawyer of the accused on TV rather then anyone one from victims families waiting for justice since last 11 years.

The lawyer shamelessly declared it strongest violation of human rights and also raising questions on fairness of trail. For those who say that Guru was not given Fair trial should also know that "It was because of the Fair trial by the Indian Judicial system that another accused Prof SAR Geelani who was also convicted was set free by the court".On behalf of many Indians you did not even defend the human rights of soldiers died defending our parliament whose families were waiting for 11 years. Not even once you asked her how Afzal explored all legal options and delayed the case. My fellow soldiers defused the bomb which did not explode as attackers abandoned it prematurely. Think of the selfless sacrifice of the people defending the parliament. You people still play the clipping of that attack to gain TRP of your channels but forget the human rights of people who died during the course of duty but are most worried about the human right of conspirators and masterminds of such attacks and are very quick to call such people on TV.

You did not even ask once the lawyer that how come if the trail was not fair the second accused was acquitted. Why no human rights for people died in attack and many more died on border after this attack as whole army got deployed overnight on borders. Who is responsible for long wait for justice over 11 years for getting even one person hanged.

I wished you paid some tributes to people who died by the actions of people whose master mind was Afzal guru.

Let us consider some facts.

The riots took place during all of his 3 terms only once in 2002 and never again, whereas prior to that during the Congress rule in Gujarat and in other states in India, they have taken place umpteen times against the muslims. The Congress just to show itself as secular have instigated riots different times, in different places, make the minorities feel insecure and stages an act of coming to their rescue.
About1200 people had died in the Gujarat riots, post Godhra and 30% of them were Hindus. Considering a muslim population of just 8% in Gujarat, is it not obvious that the anti-social elements in that community too were working "overtime" to claim "parity".
About 3500 sikhs were supposed to have been killed in just a day after Indira Gandhi's assassination in Delhi alone, and only people belonging to that community and from no other community at all. Yet people chose to declare the pogram as just "shaking of earth when a big tree falls".

Nobody, least of all the EU and American western media, never chose to call Rajiv Gandhi or Congress communal.

Now we see the CNN-IBN twisting the news in mentioning that Modi "ASSURING the EU Chairman that 2002 type of riots will not take place in Gujarat".

Who is EU chairman, is he a high school headmaster, why at all Narendra Modi, is he erring school boy to "assure" that EU gentleman?

It is the other way of the EU and American guys trying to "patch up with Narendra Modi" afraid of his growing popularity.

But if Rajdeep Sardesai were to give such a headline, there may not be any "CNN" in his news channel and instead of IBN he may give IPN (Indian Pauper's News).
