Some of the postings here betray lack of knowledge about JJ and methods of MMS/Maino. It was JJ who put revered Sankracharya in jail on concocted charges, albeit under pressure from Sonia as he had taken up crusade against phoney conversion. JJ is corrupt and now that MMS/Sonia have recordings of Amarsingh,, 2G bureaucrats and sundry politicians, any selective leak can destroy careers of a person. Now that they have recordings, they own industrialists, media and judiciary. Nothing changes for Congi rascals. Instead of DMK, it would be AIDMK in next parliament supporting the corrupt. Another case that perhaps has escaped attention of CDs is more interesting which would finish Narendra Modi very soon. The corrupted Supreme court selected a very nice case of police abuse in which police in Maharashtra killed a businessman in encounter to help another person. SC has termed “encounter” killing equal to cold blooded murder and award death penalty for the same. They have selected the case smartly and without distinguishing between encounter of terrorist and ordinary person, has termed all illegal encounter death deserving death sentence. Such a move would spook the police officers behind bar in Gujarat and go against Modi, though till now they have maintained silence. This should definitely put Modi on back foot and finish him (may be by corrupt elements in BJP). Also of significance is terming defection of BJP and independents in Karnataka as legal, they have set a new precedent which would open up horse trading in a big way and obviously help Congi as they are the people with money and muscle. Indira was worse than Nehru and now Sonia has proved that she is more manipulative than Indira. Indira could not buy judiciary then as most judges had moral values. Now SC judges are for sale and Congi flush with all sort of corruption money is the biggest kid on the block.
JJ or Mamta or Modi or voters , nobody can stop this gravy train now. MMS/ Maino has pulled all the stops and ruin is the only outcome. It is question of “how soon?” . while nobody can predict the answer, it is my safe guess that it would be after MMS/Maino have fled with the wealth of India.
In the interest of Hindu and common people, it si now time that India divides and prosperous states with law and order separate for sake of religion and culture.

In a humble gesture after her landslide victory, AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa has decided to gift free mixer-grinders to the wives of former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi as part of the implementation of her party’s manifesto. Amma had promised to provide free mixer-grinder to women and free bus passes to senior citizens to travel within and nearby towns.
A free bus pass could be given to Karunanidhi too while a ceiling fan is in pipeline for A Raja in Tihar jail, but a formal announcement is pending on these two.
DMK believes that Jayalalithaa’s friendly gesture could be a deadly trap.
“Amma wants to start her new term on a humble and pleasant note, unlike last time when she got Karunanidhi arrested in the midnight,” an AIADMK spokesman confirmed, “She has no ill-will towards the DMK family and is willing to treat them as equal citizens of Tamil Nadu. In fact, through this step, she has felicitated the family.”
Party sources claim that Jayalalithaa was sending out a message that she’d be completely non-partisan while implementing her election manifesto promises. Sources further claimed that the step also went on to prove that the promised goodies in the manifesto were not any type of “bribe”, as has been criticized by many commentators.
“That would have been a bribe if we had given them only to those who had voted for Amma, clearly the wives of Karunanidhi didn’t vote for AIADMK, unless you can prove the contrary,” the party spokesman argued,
“See, we are not giving any mixer-grinder, ceiling fan, or laptop to Rajinikanth, who was reported as having voted for Amma. It’s not any bribe.”
“Rajinikanth doesn’t need any fans of course,” the spokesman cracked a PJ, reflecting the mood in the AIADMK camp.
Meanwhile in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has decided to gift a green colored Tata Nano to outgoing Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya.
That Jaya is back is big relief for all those who want India to be one and not disintegrate.
Apart from the two supremos Jaya and Karunanidhi, down below partymen of both parties at village and small town levels are family members or close relatives. It is "win-win situation" for all those operating in the name of the Dravidian Kazhagams.
The differences are that while Jaya openly visits temples, perform Puja and believe in God, Karuna does it on the sly, often engaging his family members to mediate between him and God.

That he did not is in itself a proof about the freedom of thought and speech engrained in Hinduism and calls the bluff on Chidamabram's statement about "Saffron" terrorism. Chidamabram because his specs are made from the bottom of soda water glass bottle does not know difference between 99.8% and 0.998%. He too got his share of punishment for his sin of faking victory from Sivagangai (with Azhagiri help) in the last Lok Sabha elections, had to continue his unholy relationship for the assembly elections too and that caused the decimation of the Congress.
Jayalaltha will never be anti Hindu or anti national just for the sake of power. However, corruption will continue to exist, because it has become culture of the people especially in a state like Tamil Nadu during the last 44 years.

At least the oldies are gone. Karunanidhi is 85+, Achutanandan is 87, Buddha is 75+. Karunanidhi cant even talk properly. Not sure whether he is sleeping or awake at any time. These oldies lacked any vision (physically too).

Until she and other Tamilnadu residents learn to speak Hindi, I doubt that unity will be achieved. I wonder if she even realises that there is a big country that exists outside of Tamilnadu borders. (This statement applies to any leader with provincialistic mindset)
Language is just one line that divides billions of Indians. Even a matter like who gets a share of Kaveri's water results into spilling of common man's blood.
The biggest news is not the demise of DMK.
It was how the other parties like PMK, VC and Congress did in this election.
They have lost very badily in this election.
Also the news is that how well PMK has picked its side to end up always on the loosing side.
The end of DMK is in sight with the demise of Karunanidhi. He will also not get to be buried next to Anna and MGR in Marina Beach.
This will be followed by split of DMK into DMK-Stalin supported by the Marans with backend support by Congress. Stalin will even take the back seat and let Congress form a government in Tamilnadu.
While Azhagiri will form his own DMK -Azhagiri and this will all end up down the drain.
The million dollar question is with Kanimozhi being a political hot potato what is her political future.
With the growth of Vijayakanth may be he will consolidate his future in Tamilnadu.

If we are not deviating from the topic, is it compulsory that one should be proficient in Hindi for India to be one?
For many of the ills that are plaguing the country, it is the attitude of the educated elite north of vindhyas that is the many reason. It is the peninsular India, with its 6 states including Maharashtra (excluding Mumbai) and Orissa like pillars that is holding up India and its heritage . The North is deeply steeped in reality shows and dance competitions on TV channels, that they will hardly bother even if a dozen 26/11s happen.
BTW, Jaya is very proficient in all the main south indian languages Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and also in Hindi.
