Dr. J Jayalalitha, the charismatic Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is dead.
Most of us know her as a corrupt leader but TN has excelled in severeal areas during her reign. It has become one of the biggest industrial states in India and also has many social programs like Amma Salt, Amma Canteen, Amma Water, Amma Pharmacy and the like.
Right now, everyone is praising her. Soon her exploits will be made known in Facebook.
Mr. O Paneer Selvam, the dummy, has now been chosen as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He faces an uphilll task uniting ADMK as he has no charisma. Time only will tell.

Agreed. But every one in Tamil NAdu is afraid to even speak one word against her, though she is dead.
FB is full of tributes to her. Hopefull sooon, they will start their gossip. Sasikala still is the leader and she was besides Dr. JJ for the whole time. OPS is a dummy and let us see if he is powerful enough to hold the party together.
Tomorrow I am going to Kottayam for a site meeting. Will update you all on Thursday.
Funny thing is that Kerala and Karnataka have declared a public holiday in the memory of her death. Kerala is a Hartal land and hence it is acceptable. How come Karnataka also did it, given that TN and Karnataka have Cauvery tension.
Though a Tami Iyengar Brahmin, she is being buried and not cremated. They say that most of the former chief ministers have always been buried and never cremated,

So ... once again .... the truth is ..
Nothing is permanent or stays for ever (like weather in Canada) and nothing comes with you when you leave this world. So try to be content, be happy and live for the life. That is what I told a person who wants to go for USA leaving his family here as he is not making enough money in Canada.
Another elitist leader who stole & thieved. Gave a few pennies here and their ... in freebies like AK style to get votes & publicity. Why not have good governance & lift the living standards of all (then no need to give freebies).

I hope she gave away her looted and corrupt wealth back to the same poor people, she first looted it from, just before she died.
Hopefully its in the new 500 and 1,000 notes, will help with the Demonetisation.
But knowing how corrupt, ego maniac and narcisstic she was, I wouldn't be surprised that looted wealth is used to build a huge massive monument or temple in her honour, wasting further thousands of crores of rupees.
A kind of a Jaya Mahal, even bigger than the Taj Mahal.
She used to waste thousands of crores on weddings of her family members, might as well spend that on a funeral and a death.
BTW, you guys are speaking as if she shared her personal wealth. Its spent from Government funds.
Hum log to abibi raja rani ke zamane bahar hein nahin aye....
Its true, she won many battles against political stalwarts but it has been all for her own interests.
I would like to hear about her from one of the parents of those three girls who were burnt alive, just imagine for a second being a one of the parent...
Aaj kal dyaag vyaag ki baathon ki koyee hadh hi nahin hein...
Just read if you get a chance about Kamaraj...

One can say anything but her amma canteen I guess gives cheap food for poor.when the choice is between lesser of evil I think she has done a good job specially amma version 2 and above
In a country like india which is divided in so many ways being poor is not easy.In my neighbourhood I have seen people struggling specially men after 50 or when they no longer can do the hard work .i can write a lot a about these poor souls and im not from TN.
Credit need to be given where it is due.its true that lot of power abuse is there but its simply part of our culture.
