Just wanted to know how many CD's are having life insurance (Pure term plan). This means that at the end of the specified term (10,20 or 30 years), you will just get back your premium or some time get nothing.
Also wanted to know if you have a mortgage (home), does your home insurance have a life insurance component to it?
I have taken a life insurance where by I pay $ 283 a year for 20 years for a life insurance of $ 90,000. At the end of the term plan, I get nothing.

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.

Life Insurance + Short term disability - both are paid by employer. The Life Insurance is for around 250K and employer is paying around $ 28 per month as a Group Policy holder. I am paying for long term disability - around $ 80 per month.

My home insurance doesn't have life insurance component.

My wife's employer provides a free spousal life insurance cover of 100K in addition to her life insurance coverage.
