I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.

1 thing really very good and unique abt CD is that we dispense & share meaningful information leaving leisure and personal rheotrics @ the bay!

I visited a couple of other Imigration forums and yuck... I found them disgusting due to the language being used realising the cleanlisness and purposeful ness of CD .

Concern is if sexy vixen is in ***ing hag isn't far behind ...... guys what purpose wud it serve 4 ppl 2 keep such names / curses .......??

Off late I have observed that the no. of hits and posts on the forum are turning over pretty fast . Appears as if search engines are picking up cd.com very fast directing most 1st time users 2 the site who w/o scanning the archives post in a query . Nothing wrong in that ..... but just a feeling that the forum may not get diluted gradually ...... !! Its a sincere effort by all of us and shd retain the aesthacity .

I support biomed's suggestion. Things starts in a small way and soon gets their way to flourish. We should keep CD forum as much clean as we can.

Anybody with an ID like that may not be able to participate meaningfully due to the attitudes of some people on this forum. So as such I dont think it should really bother the contents of the forum as much. Maybe if such people do mean to become participants...someone is bound to tell them that their ID's do not go down well with others. So a request rather than a rule would work better imho.
There are also 'desistuds' and a few other 'different from CD norm' screen-id's already.
BTW: it does not bother me at all & I don't see it as an issue. To me, it adds variety and does not dilute the forum.

Well, I guess in our own way, all of us are kind of right. But the bottomline is that how does one take this objection. I guess it should be taken in a very sporting manner and should change his/her member ID to a somewhat decent name. There are millions of other sites where the same person can express his/her feelings in a different way. But I guess, like me, many of the CDs on this site would appreciate if such language was not used on this site.

It would be right to stop it now, rather than let it spoil the entire purpose of this site.

Let's give the concerned member a benefit of doubt. If he/she posts objectionable matters, the moderator ...etc. can bar them. If there is anything contributionary, then he/she can have any ID!! it shouldn't matter.

Besides, by now with all this discussion taking place, I'm sure the message has come across to the concerned party, that we (CDN. Desis) will not entertain bad and or distasteful language.

Just because someone has nasty looking features does not necessarily mean that, that person is nasty, you have to get to know someone to form an opinion........
