That's one possibility. Another one is the truth is outside of these.
My bone with religion is that it tries to explain creation from a very human perspective, bearing in mind human emotions, actions and circumstances. The crux of most religions is the battle between good and evil and the resulting consequence. What if "the truth" has nothing to do with all this?

My take on religion is - accept it at it's face value. If you try to dig deeper it becomes subject to the Heisenberg's Uncertainity Principal - the deeper you probe the hazier it becomes.

True. I think that's what most people end up doing. But then it gets dangerously close to the definition of dogma.
Personally, I am compelled to dig deeper, I only wish I could accept it at face value.

This is my take on religion:
We all know that there is something that makes the world tick. It is the power that creates the seed that grows into a tree, the power that created the atom, the power that breathes life into all things alive.
Religion is a way of life that helps us understand and appreciate all that this power is capable of. It helps us define ourselves and a course in life that leaves to meaninful living.
Above all things, Religion is an extremely private affair, not to be flaunted or forced on others.
That is all religion is. Anything else is dogma, politics and sheer greed.
