We will be landing on 17 September. Can u please guide for fwg.

Can we take draft for required settlement funds in USD instead of CAD?

Is it necessary to have item wise list of jewellery? We got the total grams and the value estimated by our jeweller. Will that be ok?

regards

It does not make sense converting into USD instead o cdn as eventually u will need in Cdn. Your loosing excchange twice converting from AED to USD to CDN. I would say make it in Cdn

We are taking in USD instead of CAD since this will be used only for showing, we will be returning back to UAE in 15 days and if we take in CAD, we will be losing because of diff in exchange rate for CAD is more than USD.

Has anybody taken in USD?

Money is money in Canada till it is convertible freely. You can bring money in any currency - when I came, I brought, US$, CAD, Singapore Dollar, British Pound, Japanese Yen and even Indonesian Rupiah since I visited these countries just before coming here.

If it is convertible, you can even bring Indian Rupees.
