I did give them a feedback on this.. and I am sure they will correct these glitches soon.. Google tools are good.. but they have a habit ot remaining in Beta for years.. like the GMAIL.

Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.
Either when u search for a specific address, or try to get hang of its neighbourhood, I find that navigation over a map on google is by far a lot more easier & superior. (I am talking UI interface : page refresh and navigation options here )
As for the directions, we should always make our own . Let me reiterate what i believe we all believe in.
For interstate directions, these tools are excellent.
For incity directions, we should always cross-check what it offers against our own directional abilities. Remeber its GIGO (Garbage in Garbage out).
BTW, I dont think the idea behind these tools is to replace the use of our human logical brain. Atleast, we are not there yet . We have to use it as a helper tool. Use it to get the big picture, interpret what it offers, manipulate it to suit our needs and then decide our course of action(Oops..navigation
).
BTW, if ur not online, CAA route-map is another alternative. Aint that bad for interstate directions. And if ur a starter, u can always scratch the CAA operators brain. If u know how to drive and ur directional skills dont suck, u'll always be ok on ur own if u just have the Rand McNally Atlas and a city map.
