I doubt if a million dollars and A. Roy can keep you happy. That is a total illusion. The moment you attain those you could become unhappy for 1001 reasons, e.g., unhappy because of all the attention A. Roy is getting, unhappy because of inferiority complex, unhappy because all these people are staring at your girl A. Roy, unhappy because A. Roy is unhappy!!! and on and on....

I feel happiness lies in being at peace with onself and with ones surrounding and the people aroud us.
Apart from millions of things which provide momentary happiness, overall wholesome happiness comes from peace of mind only. Health, wealth, status, comfort etc help us in getting to that peace of mind but cannot give it to us unless we conciously get it.
If having a beautiful partner, health, fame and pile of wealth gave happiness .....Ambanis would not be fighting even after having every material thing money could buy. What they cannot buy is peace of mind.
I have seen surprisingly high level of happiness in most unexpected of people and places ....in blind school kids ...in a friend, who was one of the the most joyous person i have met , he is no more , because of
a birth defect in his heart , he knew he would not live for long ...but he lived everyday with the level of happiness very few people have.
If we venture out and see ....happiness is possible even without any material wants of todays world.....if we just cherish, every moment we live and everything around us, even if it is not perfect by our standards.
Happiness lies between our ears.

All dollars get spent some day, for this purpose (being Happy) even billion dollars may not be sufficent.... May be this is the reason of billion dollar deals (and wills) etc etc..
Why did not anyone agreed to me that the person has to Happy just as such without any ambition (except the ambition of being Happy)..
Most of the ambitions people have listed (in terms of money and material), they may not be able to fulfil them in their lifetime (At least it seems that these are next to impossible just now).. One or two of you may become millionare but will all other remain UNHAPPY during their lifetime...

If this was a few years ago, I would have invested in such a venture. Thefunds are gone now.
What else did you try?
One f my friends in US became a franchise for Quiznos. At that time it was really not that popular. Lately they have started expanding a lot here in Canada. A lot of ads too. His logic was that it was easier to get snce it was not "hot".

hmm.. well i am not really upto a Tim Hortons.. just brought it in as one of the possible ways to spend a million bucks..
Its a lot easy in India to open a "Chai Ki Dukan" .. something as simple as that has become so complicated here..
