Seriously speaking, gavaskar and mohinder amarnath are the best batsman India ever produced to face real fast bowling. Remember how they dominated marshal & co.

Team India is preparing for World cup which is only 5 months away and doesn't look fully prepared. Tendulkar is resting himself because he is getting ready for the WC. I fear that the history of 2007 WC should not be repeated.
SRT should have played but its his choice. He can turn a match around. So far biggest failures are Rohit, Yuvraj, Kohli and Kartick. These young(?) guns were supposed to fire. Gambhir is sidelined due to injury. If WC has to be won, they need to fire now, at least against NZ on Wednesday.

Dont count on others. It looks the young lot have already given up.
