Whenever IE cannot find a site it automatically goes to INstafinder. How can I get rid of this instfinder because it is a "Sticky" site.

Goto control panel> add remove programs>

find them there and uninstall them


If not


try going to your

my computer> c:\ drive> Program Files>

check there for instfinder files or folders.

delete

Is this what you are looking for ? I am not sure though as it's very simple and you might already known about that...

Go to Tools > Internet Options > General > in Home Page click on "Use Blank"


I am still using IE without any problems & Don't like forefox

None of the above suggestions is gonna work. Instafinder is a spyware, you will need spyware removal tools to get rid of it. There are a few very good tools available free on the net; viz, Microsoft anti spyware, Ad-aware from lavasoftusa.com and 'search and destroy'.

download all three of them and scan your system using all three one by one. Its a fact that no anti spyware tool is strong enough to get rid of every spyware on your system, so you will have to use a combination of these tools. I personally scan my system once a week using these tools and never had any problems.
