C++ Application Developer



Location: Birmingham, AL.

Duration: 4 + Months.

Start Date: ASAP.

Number of positions: 3

Rate: $50/ - $55/hr.



Bit more detailed requirement of the project. Please note that when Visual Studio is mentioned, we are not referring to Visual C++ programming (e.g., COM, DCOM, ATL etc.), but only using the IDE for a general C++ project. Also, there is a specific RougeWave library - SourcePro. The candidate has to have business application development experience, and some experience in building web applications, as I mentioned.



The client has sent an email this afternoon. The time crunch is still there, and we do need resumes as quickly as possible by end of the day today.



Here's a little more detail on the tools and skills involved in the project:



Visual Studio 6.0
RogueWave's SourcePro library (basically a set of foundation classes)
IIS / CGI (most of this interface layer is already built)
Web Applications in general (basic knowledge of HTML, state management and other issues related to building web apps)
SQL (Initial target platform is Oracle, but we will likely develop against SQL Server 2000 for convenience in the development stages)
Design Patterns (from GoF or similar sources)


Required Skills:

C++ application development.
RogueWave's SourcePro library


Desired Skills:

Financial investment application experience a plus.
