Hi all: I seek advise and guidance on facing customs at Pearson airport for the 1st time after their initial landing,do and donts , items to avoid bringing from India etc, etc
Stay cool. Declare all agricultural products and donot hide. When checked they total $ for each items and then put tax and then every time you travel trouble.
You will get a card to fill up and ithas instructions. Do not bring cash > 8-10K.

Thanks mercury, for your reply, please be more precise, on the tax they charge, is it there is some limt over and above they charge the tax.Like we had in india we are allowed to bring up to certain limit , and we are charged customs duty over and above that limit.Please reply, Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by 1st time after their initial landing. Is this your 1st time or not. If this your 1st time, you don't get taxed, if this a subsequent landing, then check the link provided by yellowknife.
