Open ended marriages and Pre nuptial agreements. What next É: ... call it `The Truth`It will be nice asking you about the other cases and the dollars and cents that go with the settlements to get a complete handle on it. Does the judge who hands over a settlement take into account the companionship that the lady provided or the food and other comforts that he got daily! OR all of this is for nothing and free. Does everything get split 50-50 or it is biased towards the better half! If all of what you say here is to soften the blow and you have to enter into a hermit`s life then, it will be wise to work out a PRE nuptial agreement before marriage, would you agree. if not what are the other alternatives É. Read the suggestions of BlueLobster and Garvo in the labour jobs thread. They have given very good advise.

If they have not lived for a minimum of 15 years and paid taxes their holdings in India should be nationalized and given to the poor and downtrodden from the same locality. May be they could be handed over to the malis, ayahs, house servants, car driver and others who worked their behinds off for the family and stayed back in India. They should also be back taxed from the date of immigration.

... Maqbool and another old movie i dont know the name.. , both of which i havent watched.. Last scene the Saheb sees something on the phone and looks at the bibi shocked, couldnt figure out what it was or the context.. but overall great movie.. Like the changes in indian cinema in the past few years , movies with story lines and good actors.... Mahi gill did a great job in Gulaal, was surprised it took so long for her to get another compelling role..

...Thanks for the vital info , John. I was wrong to set a doubt like that. to clear on your confusion, Canadiandesis are those who like you and me were born and brought up in India or other satelite countries and immigrated to Canada. We are still Indians at heart. and CanadianVanaspatis are people of Indian origin brought-up completely in Canada ( not so pure desis). Even some of them who came from India have transformed into complete goras and avoid interacting with their fellow countrymen forgetting they look like them, fall into this category. sometimes adjectives are so fun !!
