Expected to come by 15th April & then transported to them by hand. Unfortunately in India they have discovered they are missing their Indian Passports & current PR Cards (due to expire in Aug / Oct 2019). They probably lost it at the Airport in India. How much rent are you getting per year ? Generally upto 2.5 Lac per year income in India, you don't have to file any IT return or owe any Indian taxes. For seniors and women the tax exemption is even more. Honestly if you are a Canadian citizen, I wouldn't bother with filing IT return in India. Maybe as PR or NRI on work permit, student visa etc , it makes sense. Don't unnecessarily open a can of worms. The IT dept. is one of the most corrupt in India....
