hey every1,
this is my third month in calgary, canada..i am a rotary exchnage student here for 1 year...on sat nite i went to the diwali dinner organised by the gujrati mandal of calgary..it was awesome expericence...even though being away from home felt very good..it is kind of hard being alone without ur family..that too living with canadian plp..nwasy juts wanted to share it with u guys..
this website is really pretty kool...

As it was my first Diwali in Canada, although I am alone here but never felt home sick. The community ties are very stong in canada..

Friends, it that time of the year again !! ...with festive season round the corner, Diwali is at our doorsteps, eid a few day later ...first snow flurries just came by...malls are already playing chrismas music...the feel of festivities is in the air !!
Could the old timers please share if there are any special desi events for Diwali , New Years etc in GTA.
