Does anyone have experience owning a Volvo S60 or S40? Thinking of buying a pre-owned one.... either that or a pre-owned BMW 3 series. Any suggestions?

I owned Volvo S70 . Pretty good car but full of electronic controls .
When it comesto maintainenece itwas not cheap ..
But yes one of the most reliable cars I ever had .
