I am relocating to Ottawa around the middle of Feb from Toronto and need your advise on the following:

1. Which are the localities in / around South & Central Ottawa with desi community

2. Which are the localities to be avoided for reasons of safety

3. Any advise on finding short term / temporary accommodation will be greatly appreciated.

Central Ottawa is Huntclub. Desi's in Ottawa are everywhere almost. Its a small city comparatively you can go from one end to the other in 30-45 mins by car. I haven't heard of any area which isnt safe. In general Ottawa is a very safe place however west is much more safer & better than east.
