We have some shares that were listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, the day we migrated to Canada. However, subsequently, they are de-listed.
Does anybody know the procedure for calculating capital loss on such de-listed shares?
Try this http://www.rediff.com/money/2006/jan/16tax.htm
You will have to index the cost of acquisition ( for inflation) using the indexation table. But these days there is no long term capital gains tax on shares. So I am not sure if you can claim a capital loss.
