Guys,

I sent an application for certified copy of landing paper of my son using canada post with tracking number.

Somehow, it has not reached as per tracking information on canadapost website.

I had complain about it to Canada Post and they are investigating. What should I expect from Canada Post if they will not find any clue about my mail?

Is there any other way to know about CIC at Ottawa has received an application or not?

Canada Post will wait for investigation report for 45-60 days

I hope you send by register mail.
So at the most Canada Post will send you few $ cheque

Totally agree. I had sent a very time sensitive document thru Canada post via express post and it came back to me after 5 days..reason? They (not me) had used wrong envelope..very very frustrating...they were very happy to refund the money..but I had lost the time. Sent via UPS.
Will never use unreliable Canada post for important communications.

You were right. Canada Post return me postage expense by cheque.
I'll have to reapply again.

I gave Credit Card information to pay fees to CIC.
Should I worry about it as I lost an application?
