Food items allowed or not

Hello Cds..

We are landing on 7th Sep. I have a small kid with me so I am planning
to carry some dry Indian snacks (like Chiwda, Shakkar para etc.)
Is it allowed thr' immigration?

Also I want to carry Formula milk powder.
Actually the guest house we are staying at (Jessica's Guest House, Scarborough, near Agincourt mall) does not provide any tea/breakfast etc. We are arriving in Toronto at midnight...so my worry is to arrange for milk and some snacks for my child till we get time to shop around..

Please suggest some good Indian Veg. takeaway/ restaurents around this area.

Dry Indian Snacks are allowed thru immigration

Indian restaurants around Agincourt Mall -
1. Kennedy/Ellesmere - across from Highland Farms
2. Rasoee - On Birchmount, S of Ellesmere
3. Kennedy/Steeles - There's a South Indian Restaurant around there
4. McCowan/Finch - Woodside Mall - Sarvana Bhavan
5. Finch/Middlefield - Embassy Restaurant
