I think insurance also goes down by around 100 bucks if you have G rather than G2.. That could be the difference as well.

Hi Guys,
I have G license but had an at-fault accident last year where my car and the other car were written off but thankfully there were no personal injuries.
When I bought a 2004 Elentra, no auto insurance company was willing to do business with me. Then I called the RBC Insurance. They gave full insurance for $376 per month. I think it was not a bad deal under the circumstances.
I have come to know that PC Financial (www.pcfinancial.ca) have just opened shop for auto insurance. They are looking for customers and giving very attractive discounts. Try them.
Best of luck!
