I came to Canada as a student graduated and then applied for PR in Buffalo. I had HRDC approval and had more than 85 points, I applied for Immigratin in Buffalo and my application was sent back asking for proof of English, I replied stating my exp and edu was in english and submitted an international publication, after which I got my file num. My concern is that do I have to take Ielts??? do u think it is necessary for me to take ??? I am so confused about this, kindly advise.

dude, don't be so confused

since u score 85, u can say to the embassy that u won't take ielts and they may assess u based on the info u have provided. even if they gove u zero for english, u'll score 69. they are bound to give u at least 2 points for language.

application may take longer. if u want the easy way out, just take ielts.
