I exactly object to that. Congress has been in power for 50 years and ruined India. The present political culture in India is legacy of Congress. pseudo intelligentia like you always skirt the issue by stating"all the parties are same" All politicians are corrupt(except yr favorite Manmohan)"
No. Congress has to account for its misdeeds and assume accountability.
======================================================
Also, in calling the Congress communal, he conveniently forgot to mention our two bastions of 'secularism' - the Shiv Sena and the BJP. Yeah, those are the first two parties I'd think of when it comes to defending the right of all religions.
No points for guessing how he votes.
======================================================
Again the same vain arguments. Would you enlighten us as how BJP is more communal than Congress? Which action, specifically taken by BJP smacks of its communal antecedents?
Congress has all along played dirty communal politics. Your rambling about BJP betrays your superficial knowledge, reading and understanding of Indian politics.
I also can guess that you are literate but not informed person. Well, I am not surprised in your criticism of BJP.
By the way Congress and CPM controlled assembly has created a unparalled history in the WORLD by passing UNANIMOUS resolution urging Chennai Govt to release MADANI who is serving sentence in connection with TERRORISM related charges. However, I am sure your SECULAR mind is so fogged that it can hardly ponder and analyze this kind of news. You would make an ideal citizen of North Korea!

Pointing out links to somebody's blog doesn't say much. I could whip up a post with pseudo-truths in ten minutes and post a link to it as well.
Anybody remember the little matter of rewriting school textbooks by a certain party??
======================================================
Hmm. One can not rewrite school text book. Well , we should still be forcrd to read Romial Thapar history only. Nice thoughts of clogged mind. one can never unclog this guy. Try using "one minute plunger" It is environment friendly and works nicely in my home to unclog drain pipes. May work with your brain so that you can start thinking.
By the way your favorite Arjun has wiped slate clean and added so much non sense that many groups (like Jat and Sikhs and Jains) protested and again he asked Romillas to rewrite ! Alas Arjun belongs to Congress!

'What actions taken by the BJP smacks of communal antecedents?'
You have got to be kidding! I actually have to reply to that??
It's a testament to Indians that we are still a secular country in spite of people like you.

And not because of Mulayam, Sonia, VP Singh, Lalu, Manmohan Singh etc? Nice thought.
Manmohan Singh was a good PM. Now not, look at his recent and continuous statements about Muslims. It is all vote bank.

There is nothing wrong in rewriting history. US, a democratic country, also changes its history books quite often (Based on the feedback/oppose from the people)
Who has the final authority over the History? British Historians? Those days are gone. Now everybody is equal and what ever has been taught to us by Nehru, a pseudo Briton, should be change to a right context. We have many scholars in History and we have to listen to them, and if necessary the history should be changed.

You are acting very childish here. You have nothing to quote here against BJP being more communal than Congress or CPM and avoiding debate.
Medieval Europe was dominated by an aggressive, violent Christian church, which indulged in pogroms and continuous warfare. It became imperative to get its hands off the levers of power. Thus the concept of secularism was born: a separation of Church and State, so that religious considerations could be excluded from civil affairs and public education
'secularism' of the kind practiced in India by Congress and CPM is a perversion of Secularism
It's truly a testament to Indians and people like me that we are still a secular country in spite of ethnic cleansing of Hindus from J & K< Mzoram, Nagaland and now in Assam not because of people like you and your Congress /CPM.
I still believe that Congress being in power for more than 95% time in India is responsible for reprehensible corruption and riots.

Here is proof that BJP is communal. This is for consumption of of ALEM
Jaffer Sharief's fault?

When former Union minister and Congress leader C K Jaffer Sharief visited Bowring hospital, members of the Muslim community blocked his way.
Later, only after the people scolded him harshly for being the root cause of the communal tension, was he allowed entry. Sharief's detractors say they don't see why a rally protesting former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's hanging should have been held on Friday - 20 days after incident.
Procession
"What was the need for a procession 20 days after the hanging of Saddam?" asked Ibrahim Sharief, a resident of Shivajinagar. Gulshanji, a youth Congress leader holds Sharief responsible for the riots.
"He held the rally to show he still has the support of the people. He created the tension, so that the rally hits headlines. If there was no violence, there would have been no much talk about the rally," said Gulshanji.
"The date for Vishwa Hindu Samjotsava was announced three months ago but Sharief chose a rally just two days before it," Gulshanji said. "The state congress has sent negative reports about Sharief. He did not work in the interests of the party," he said.
Muslim from Shivajinagar and Bharatinagar blamed Shantinagar MLA Nirmal Kumar Surana. "We are not against the BJP. We have a BJP MLA Katta Subramanya Naidu in Shivajinagar. But we don't blame him. We blame Surana, who on Friday night, paid 400 people to come to Bangalore from places like Mangalore to riot," said Haku, who added that the Shantinagar police was hands in glove with Surana.
Surana rubbished the allegations. "On what basis are they blaming me? If they talk nonsense, I cannot do anything about it," said Surana. MiD DAY called Jaffer Sharief several times, each time his grandson, Abdul Rehman, said he would call back, but never did.

Note : According to Secular alexm, Jaffer is Hindu and active BJP functionary Hahaha!
