I lived in Canada as a PR for 3 yrs (1095 days), applied for my citizenship, stayed for a couple of months and moved to US as I got my green card in 2004. I have received a letter to appear before the judge. I am required to bring to two pieces of id (of which atleast one should be a photo id). Since I have been away from canada for 2 yrs my OHIP and drivers license has expired. What other documents can i show as proof of identity?
Would appreciate if someone could provide me with some information/suggestions.

-- another ID: Your SIN card. (Yes, they accpet it as your ID at many places, along with your Photo ID).

Hello!
You can use other Photo Id's like : PR card of Canada.
You can also show your USA Driving license (if you have it) as proof of Identification.
In case your USA Alien Card (Greencard) is like a Cdn. PR card, you can also show this as proof of identification.
Also there are some Credit cards which have photo ID. You can use that too. When using that you need to bring one of your statements of the credit card which has your house address (If you show this, the your USA Driving license
should show the same address).

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
If you see why this person has been called for an interview, it will be like commiting suicide to show US green card/driver's licence as a proof of ID.
In matters like these, it is always good to give true information when asked specifically but you are under no onligation to volunteer the information that is not asked specifically.
