thanks guys...
Canadian passport is really one of the best passport in the world
I have one question..
yesterday i got my Canadian citizenship....have not yet applied for passport...extremly busy..
is that possible, i can travel to europe with my indian passport + Citizenship card....as i have surrendered my PR-card.
i know i can travel out bound, no one will ask question, as i have German visa on my indian passport...but what about return inbound flight...
will they allow mw to board plane by Citizenship-card instead of PR-card ?
thanks
Mr.Gupta -apply for a Canadian Passport first.Download the online form and hand deliver at the nearest centre.I got it in 1 week's time at North York centre.
Hope this helps.

Dear Mr. Gupta,
Though no one will notice that your Indian passport is no more valid and you may be successful in travelling on indian passport, you may end up into trouble later on (which I am sure you will, based on some stories I have heard), on your next visit to Indian councelate... When you go for OCI, indian councelate will ask you for your indian passport.. and at that time they will scan you passport for any such travel... and then you know the consequences...
My suggestion not to take this chance..

Mr. Gupta,
Regarding your second question:
No, there is no requirement for you to surrender your Indian ppt on aquiring cdn citizenship...
When you go for your OCI or next Indian Visa, at that time you have to surrender your Indian ppt for cancellation.... Indian counselate will return it to you aftering marking it "cancelled"...
Hope that helps..
