There are two Indian (Gujarati owner) bakery sell fresh Nan Khatai and puffed pastries. They do supply to grocery stores but try fresh from their shops.
1. INDO CANADA BAKERY 1002 Danforth Ave, Toronto
I love their Nan Khatai and Maska Biscuites.
This shop is there for more than 20 yrs.
2. Muzda Bakery 1010 Danforth Ave, toronto
Puffed Pastry is best, very little ghee/butter.

I have tried hotbreads .. that is good .. in burnhamthorpe mississauga.
However I don't take eggs and finding a bakery that makes egg-less stuff is very rare.
I tried the Hotbreads at Howden Blvd. in Brampton.

Their "Nankhatai" and other cookies were good. They also had lots of Indian style fast food on their menu. Need to try some of those fast food.
